The studio at Wooden Idea Productions is set-up to encourage musicians to be comfortable, creative and cost effective. We are rapidly expanding our capabilities and always welcome a fresh challenge. We are an entirely digital set-up recording to hard-disk. This gives us the ability to quickly and conveniently set-up, edit and produce your music to exactly how you want it. We currently offer the ability to record whole band set-ups either live or direct-in. We also have worked with ambient and electronic acts with a fantastic outcome. When recording with us you are welcome to use any of our equipment (guitars, effects pedals, bass's, drum-kit, cymbals, acoustic guitars, guitar/bass amps etc) as well as our full range of microphones, a live room, control room, chill room, kitchen and garden.

Here at Wooden Idea Studio's we understand that sometimes bands can come away from recording sessions without the final product they really wanted. Be it due to lack of time, money, inspiration or simply because the guy recording you didnt understand. As much as this seems unthinkable to us, we know it happens out there. This is why we offer a mastering/tinkering service, the basis of which is sitting down with you over a number of sessions to bring out the very best in your music, and get the sound you really wanted. Of course, we need the bare audio files that you have already recorded to do this. Which depending upon the studio, you should have access to.

We have strong links within the industry enabling us to print cd artwork and a wide range of other media (t-shirts, mugs, stickers etc) at competetive prices. We also understand that its not always appropriate to have your bands first EP or demo printed to proffesional industry standard. This is why we take each project as it comes and make sure you are getting the best you can within your price range. Also, if you would like us to we can distribute your cd nationwide and worldwide for you taking alot of the strain off releasing a cd.
