about.

Hailing from the home counties of Bershire and Buckinghamshire, A Genuine Freakshow are rapidly gaining a reputation for being one of the most original and intensely engaging live acts on the underground music scene.

history.

A Genunie Freakshow formed at High Wycombe University in 2003. After going through a number of line up changes and shifts in musical direction, they finally relocated to Reading and settled on their current form and function.

Relentless gigging over 2 years, across the country, has allowed the band to perfect their live performance and gain a core of loyal fans. Along their travels they have picked up support slots with several up and coming stars such as Forward Russia, Good Shoes, Redjetson, David Ford, Kill Keneda, Circulus and Cats & Cats & Cats.

In mid December the band began recording their first studio EP "0.008%" featuring a guest performance from Mike Siddell (Hope of the states) on violin. Since its release in mid April, the EP has surpassed the bands expectations and it has recieved an excellant response from both fans and proffessionals alike.
