Temjiin is a culmination of the interests and ideas of friends that grew up in The Malverns and shared some musical history together. The general aim is to mix organic textures and soundscapes with subtle electronics to create a reservoir of soundwaves that drown you.

history.

Original idea devised by Tsui in the fall of 2006 while diving off the coast of thaiwan. Two friends were inlisted, Pete and Kev who became responsible for Production and Artwork respectively. The trio spent a few months buried in the studio creating ‘Diamond Shattered Jet Black Curtain.’ With the help of 9:12 records this record was released in 2007 to great applause and the group gathered a small following.

The collective grew after this to include Sam and Rich Esdale, each bringing fresh ideas and inspiration for the future of Temjiin. Temjiin also features on 9:12s comp ‘If you believe’ and is in line to feature a new track on the latest in the series of 9:12 compelations due out in the winter. Talk of the next album is heavily rumored to be underway but as yet there is no word from the media shy collective.
